Director of Marketing and Events

Asia Rau grew up in the U.S. Navy, moving from one coastal location to another, and landed at Seattle Pacific University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in English. Since graduating, she has worked in the event planning and marketing industry through various organizations, including Seattle Pacific University’s Office of Student Life, Avid Events, University of Washington Alumni Association, University of Washington College of Engineering’s Development Office, Bellevue Downtown Association and Downtown Seattle Association. She joined Lifelong in the Winter of 2007 as the Events Manager and in the Summer of 2007 accepted the Director of Marketing & Events position, overseeing eight full time staff and Lifelong’s Volunteer Program, which has over 1,000 participants.
