Employee Benefits

Lifelong AIDS Alliance has a competitive and comprehensive group of employee benefits designed for our employees and their immediate family. Below are summaries of employee benefits. For complete details, contact Lifelong's Human Resources department at jobs@llaa.org.

Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
Lifelong AIDS Alliance offers a competitive medical, dental and vision insurance package to all full-time employees scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hours per week. Employees contribute $65 a month, pre-tax, to this benefit. Coverage is available for spouse/domestic partners and children at an additional cost.

Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD)
Lifelong AIDS Alliance offers Long Term Disability insurance to all full-time employees after completing 30 days of continuous employment. The benefits include 60% of basic monthly earnings, not to exceed $6,000 per month. Lifelong also provides Short-Term Disability to all regular employees.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program provides Lifelong employees access to counseling for personal, family or work related issues, access to legal or financial counsel or trainings related to work, family or life.

Life Insurance
Lifelong provides $25,000 of life insurance and $25,000 of Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance for all regular full-time employees for the duration of their employment.

401(k)
Lifelong offers a 401(k) plan that is available to all eligible employees. Employees are able to make tax deferred contributions and Lifelong matches contributions up to 50% of the first 3% employee deferral.

Section 125 Flexible Spending Account
Lifelong offers a flexible spending account to all eligible employees. Through FlexPlan, employees can elect to receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses incurred for health and dependent care. All deductions are made from pre-tax dollars.

Supplemental Insurance
Lifelong offers several supplemental insurance plans through AFLAC to all eligible employees.

Paid Vacation Time
All regular full-time employees are eligible to accrue vacation time. Lifelong offers 120 hours of vacation time during the first year of employment and this amount increases by 16 hours each year until a maximum of 248 hours is reached.

Paid Sick Time
All regular full-time employees and some regular part-time employees are eligible to accrue sick time. Sick time is accrued at 96 hours each year with a maximum balance of 200 hours for full-time employees and is prorated for part-time employees.

Paid Holidays
Lifelong offers up to 15 paid holidays a year to all regular employees. These days include Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, the week between Christmas and New Years and New Years Day.
