Lifelong AIDS Alliance and Chicken Soup Brigade congratulate Joan Rivers and fellow HIV/AIDS service organization God’s Love We Deliver on winning The Celebrity Apprentice.
Seattle, Washington – Lifelong AIDS Alliance and Chicken Soup Brigade are thrilled to learn that God’s Love We Deliver (GLWD) in New York won the winner’s check for The Celebrity Apprentice television series in the amount of $250,000. GLWD is a long time ANSA member and provides food and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses.
In addition to the wonderful publicity The Celebrity Apprentice brought to GLWD, winning contestant Joan Rivers was also able to raise roughly $250,000 more for the organization through the work she did on the show, for a grand total of around $500,000 in funds raised.
Executive Director of Lifelong AIDS Alliance David Richart says, “It is such a wonderful thing to see great things happening for good organizations. The prize money is going to help a lot of people live healthier lives. We are so proud of Joan Rivers!”
