Thousands of Community Members to Dine Out and Fight AIDS for the 13th Annual Dining Out For Life
More than 150 restaurants in the Seattle area to donate a portion of their proceeds on Thursday, April 27 to Lifelong AIDS Alliance to help feed people living with HIV/AIDS

Seattle—April 19, 2006—On Thursday, April 27, more than 150 restaurants will be participating in what has become one of the Seattle area’s favorite fundraisers, the 13th annual Dining Out For Life. On that day, participating restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to Lifelong AIDS Alliance, the largest HIV/AIDS service organization in the Pacific Northwest. Through its Chicken Soup Brigade food program, Lifelong provides fresh prepared meals and bags of groceries to people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as other life-challenging illnesses, in Seattle/King County.

“Just by going out to eat at one of these amazing restaurants, community members can help feed our friends and neighbors living with HIV/AIDS,” said Tina Podlodowski, Executive Director of Lifelong AIDS Alliance. “It’s one of the easiest ways to make a big impact on someone’s life.”

Participating restaurants serve every meal from breakfast through late-night drinks and every cuisine from seafood to Sicilian to Southwestern. With a full 30% of food and beverages going directly to Lifelong AIDS Alliance, residents can dine out and fight AIDS all day long! A complete list of participating restaurants can be found at Lifelong’s website, www.llaa.org.
