Transitions in Lifelong AIDS Alliance's marketing and development department
Seattle, Wash.—February 8, 2007—Lifelong AIDS Alliance, the largest HIV/AIDS service organization in the Pacific Northwest and the fifth largest in the United States, today announced several new transitions occurring in the agency’s marketing and development department.
J. Cory Curtis, formerly Lifelong’s Director of Marketing and Development, has left the agency to accept a vice president position at Porter Novelli, a global public relations firm.
Lee Mahoney, formerly Lifelong’s Development Manager, has been promoted to the position of Director of Development.
Lynn Scherer has been hired as Lifelong’s Corporate and Foundations Grants Manager. Scherer previously held the position of Development Associate at Lakeside School.
Asia Rau has been hired as Lifelong’s Events Manager. Rau previously held the position of Events Manager at Downtown Seattle Association.
“Lifelong’s development staff are some of the best in the business,” said Executive Director Tina Podlodowski. “Cory and I have worked closely for years, and we are thrilled about his exciting opportunity at Porter Novelli. No matter where he is, Cory will always remain a part of the Lifelong family. Part of Cory’s legacy is the hiring and mentoring of development professionals like Lee Mahoney, who is more than ready to step into the Director role. With Lynn and Asia, we welcome two new talents to the Lifelong team, and look forward to our continued growth and success.”
