Most people living with HIV/AIDS who reside in King, Kitsap, Pierce, Island and Snohomish Counties are eligible to receive weekly or biweekly groceries. Eligibility for meals is determined by severity of illness. For individuals that do not have HIV/AIDS, eligibility for services is contingent upon verification of disability due to illness, injury or age.
Meal and/or grocery bags can be picked up at the main office pick-up center on Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. or at several satellite locations throughout King County on Thursdays.
Meal and/or grocery bags can also be delivered to the homes of clients who are disabled due to illness or injury (physician verification of disability required).
Our pick-up hours are Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We are located at 1161 11th Avenue in Capitol Hill. The Pick-up Center is for registered clients only. We also have satellite pickup centers in West Seattle, Federal Way, and Renton for limited hours during the week. Call a care coordinator for more information.
We ask clients to be home for their delivery window. If you are unable to be home during that time, please call your care coordinator at least 48 hours in advance to notify them. If you miss a delivery, please call your care coordinator as soon as possible so we can resume your delivery services the following week. If we do not hear from you, your services will be put on hold until further notice.
To find out if you are eligible for our food program, or to hold or stop your services, please contact our care coordinators at (206) 957-1686 or send us a message.
