Service Learning

Volunteering for Lifelong AIDS Alliance is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about HIV/AIDS issues while earning Service Learning credit.

Whether you are interested in working as an individual volunteer or as part of a group, Lifelong AIDS Alliance has a variety of opportunities on-site and throughout King County.

If you would like to volunteer as an individual, browse our Volunteer Programs and complete a Volunteer Application. The volunteer services staff will work with you to arrange your volunteer placement and to provide volunteer documentation to your school.

If you are interested in working as a group, please see our Group Volunteer Opportunities and complete a Group Volunteer Request Form. Due to space limitations, we must limit group size to a maximum of 20 volunteers at a time for on-site opportunities.

Volunteer Commitment and Minimum Age Requirement

While many school programs only require a certain number of volunteer hours, Lifelong requires that Service Leaning volunteers make the same commitment to our volunteer opportunities as other volunteers. Except for some of our community events, students must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer with Lifelong and any youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. In addition, many opportunities are limited to those over the age of 18 or 21.

Please see our Volunteer Programs for more information on specific time commitments and age requirements.
